HOW DOES ICOTY SELECT THE WINNER?

This award represents the best of all the new cars. It all comes down to the expertise of the jury members, which vote for a single decisive winner. The fair, and tamper-proof voting process includes criteria like price, fuel-efficiency, styling, comfort, safety, performance, practicality, technical innovation, value for money, and suitability for Indian driving conditions – the last one being a crucial factor while deciding the winner.

Zigwheels Editor Ameya Dandekar is also among the jurors. More details about the jury and the award itself can be found on the ICOTY website. Results will be announced on December 20, so stay tuned.
