Renault Triber facelift spied for the very first time ahead of expected launch in 2025
Likely to come with tweaked design elements including new wheels, subtle changes to the lights and bumpers
Could get some additional convenience and safety features as well such as automatic climate control and 6 standard airbags
Expected to get the 1-litre turbo-petrol engine alongside the familiar 1-litre naturally aspirated unit
The facelifted Renault Triber has been spotted testing with camouflage in India for the very first time ahead of its expected launch later in 2025. Around a month ago, Renault launched the model year 2025 Triber on our shores alongside the Kiger with more features across lower variants. The facelifted model is expected to get a tweaked design, more features and possibly an additional powertrain option.
Here’s what we could decode from the spy shot and what we expect from the updated version:
The spy shot reveals the rear three quarters of the Triber, featuring a tweaked design for the tail lights, which could be LED units. While we cannot tell clearly, the rear bumper also seems to have been updated with a more chunky look. It continues to get a roof-mounted spoiler and one can also spot a rear wiper.

The silhouette remains unchanged, but one can expect a new design for the wheels – which could probably be alloys to up the premium factor. The fascia too will likely get some changes with more aggressive styling, a tweaked grille, revamped headlights and an updated bumper. One can also expect the facelifted model to come with some new colour options.

*Current model for reference purpose
The insides of the Renault Triber facelift are yet to be snapped. But we expect Renault to attract more customers by offering an enhanced suite of features. It could get a large digital driver display, automatic climate control, more speakers, six standard airbags, an air purifier, and connected car features.
Features that will likely be carried forward include the likes of an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, steering-mounted audio controls, keyless entry with push-button start, and rear air conditioning vents.
Safety will likely be taken care of by ABS with EBD, electronic stability program, rear parking camera with parking sensors, hill start assist, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.

The Triber is expected to come with the same 1-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine which makes 72 PS of power and 96Nm of torque. It will continue to get the two transmission options: a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT. Additionally, it could also get the 100 PS 1-litre turbo-petrol unit which is already available on the Kiger.

When launched, there could be a minor increment over the current model which is priced from Rs 6.10 lakh to Rs 8.97 lakh (ex-showroom). It will continue to be a more affordable alternative to the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and XL6.

The updates could potentially draw some of the buyers towards the Triber which seems to have lost its spark. What updates would you like to see? Let us know in the comments section.
