KTM 390 Adventure X Price Hiked In India; 350cc Range To Debut Soon

The KTM 390 Adventure X has become more expensive by Rs 17,000, pushing its price up to Rs 3.43 lakh from the earlier Rs 3.26 lakh (both ex-showroom, Delhi). This hike follows a similar revision seen on the KTM 390 Duke, which got costlier by almost Rs 40,000, hinting at a wider price realignment across KTM’s 390 lineup in India.

What’s Behind The Price Jump?

The increase can largely be traced back to the updated GST 2.0 framework, which impacts motorcycles with engine capacities above 350cc. With higher taxation eating into margins, manufacturers like KTM have had to tweak pricing to stay viable. The end result? Customers now have to stretch their budgets a bit more to get their hands on the 390 range.

Enter The 350cc Era

KTM isn’t sitting still, though. It's no secret that KTM is gearing up to introduce an all-new 350cc lineup in India, including the KTM 350 Duke and 350 Adventure twins (standard and Adventure X), expected to arrive around mid-April. These new models will step into an increasingly competitive sub-400cc space, which is only getting more crowded by the day.

Familiar DNA, New Positioning

In terms of design and hardware, don’t expect a drastic overhaul. The new 350cc motorcycles are likely to carry forward the same sharp styling, sporty ergonomics, and capable chassis setup seen on the 390s. The main difference will be a slightly downsized engine, which could trade a bit of top-end punch for better affordability.

Importantly, the 390 range isn’t being replaced. For the foreseeable future, the upcoming 350s will sit just below them, giving buyers more options without taking away the hardcore appeal that KTM’s larger-capacity bikes are known for.
