As seen above, the Apex edition comes at a premium of Rs 15,000 over the variants it is based on. The extra money you pay, offers enough additions or not? Let’s find out.

Well, not much has been changed design-wise. It now features a front lip which is finished in gloss black and has silver accents for contrast. The gloss black treatment is carried over to side skirts as well.

The special edition features “Apex Edition” badges on the fender as well as tailgate. In addition to the inclusions on the front and sides, the rear sports piano black lower garnish with chrome accents mimicking the shape of an exhaust, dialing up the special appeal.

Step inside and you will spot a couple of cosmetic tweaks to the interior as well. The dashboard and door pads come with soft touch leatherette material, and the interior features a dual-tone black and ivory theme.

A key addition with the Apex edition are the ambient lights which uplifts the cabin, making it feel more premium. The ambient lights come with not one, two or three, but seven customisable colour options to choose from.
Furthermore, you get Apex Edition embossed on the seat covers and cushions, giving a sense of exclusivity everytime you step inside the cabin.

Features-wise, you get the same equipment that you get with the standard V and VX variants. These include an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 7-inch digital driver’s display, wireless smartphone charger, keyless entry, a 6-speaker sound system, keyless entry, and push button start/stop.

In terms of safety, it comes with ABS with EBD, six airbags, electronic stability control, hill start assist and ISOFIX child seat mounts.
Amenities such as a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 8-speaker audio system, auto dimming IRVM and a host of ADAS features are available only with the top-end ZX variant.
The Honda Elevate Apex Edition is powered by a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine which generates 121 PS and 145 Nm. It is teamed with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT.

As with most special editions, no mechanical changes have been made.
The Honda Elevate’s price ranges from Rs 11.91 lakh to Rs 16.43 lakh (ex-showroom). It competes with the likes of Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Toyota Hyryder, Tata Curvv, VW Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, and Citroen Basalt.
