  • DBX 707 has a twin-turbo V8 tuned for 707PS and 900Nm.

  • It also gets carbon ceramic brakes, retuned air suspension and steering, and an active exhaust system.

  • Luxury features include soft-closing doors, leather and Alcantara interiors and ‘Q’ customisation options.

  • Deliveries are set to begin in April 2023.

The Aston Martin DBX 707 has touched down in India as the fastest iteration of the luxury super-SUV. It gets a more powerful V8 engine than the DBX, standard carbon ceramic brakes and an array of changes to the suspension, chassis and steering for better handling. The SUV is priced at Rs 4.63 crore in India (ex-showroom) and rivals the Lamborghini Urus and Bentley Bentayga

What makes the Aston DBX 707 the fastest SUV?

Similar to the standard DBX, the 707 has a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine under its bonnet. But it has been re-engineered and retuned to make 707PS and 900Nm, a whopping 157PS and 200Nm over the standard SUV.

Moreover, the DBX 707’s specs are higher than the Urus’ 640PS and 850Nm output. This means the DBX 707 can get from 0-100kmph in just 3.3 seconds, quicker than the Lamborghini SUV’s 3.6-second time.

The engine is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission that uses a wet clutch to handle the enhanced torque. In addition, the DBX 707 has various improvements to the chassis, suspension and steering as well as carbon ceramic brakes for better performance.
