2025 Hyundai Venue Teased! Launching Soon On……

After numerous design leaks and a lot of speculation, Hyundai has released the first teaser for the 2025 Hyundai Venue. Slated for launch on November 4, the subcompact SUV has big shoes to fill and carry the success of the popular first-generation model. While we are eager to get a closer look next month, let’s go through what we know about it till now:

Exterior: Radical, But Familiar

The teaser gives us a sneak peek of the 2025 Venue’s fascia and its design elements. Clearly, it borrows a lot of design elements from its other siblings like the Alcazar and Exter. One can notice the presence of a wide rectangular grille with chrome inserts and square-shaped LED headlights. There is also a full-width LED light bar, connecting the DRLs, which extend down to the headlamp assembly to form a C-shape. Lastly, one can also notice the chunky silver cladding lower down in the bumper. 

While the teaser only gives a look at the front, it must be noted that the second-generation SUV has been spied fully undisguised, giving us a proper look at its exterior design. The Venue now gets a boxy design for its silhouette with muscular haunches above the wheel arches and sharp lines. Chunky body cladding around the wheel arches and alloy wheels with an aero-dynamic design give it a rugged look. Lastly, there is also a silver insert on the C-pillar. 

From the spy shots, we can see that the rear styling is more of an evolution than a revolution. You get connected LED taillamps that are now slimmer and ‘Venue’ badging in a gloss black insert. Lower down on the bumper, the reflectors now mimic the C-shape of the front DRLs along with a thicker silver cladding to boost its SUV credentials. You also get a larger rear spoiler for a sportier stance.

Interior: A Major Upgrade

Inside the Venue, from earlier spyshots, we can see a completely new design theme. It gets a brand-new dashboard with Hyundai confirming that the India-spec model will come with a  curved dual-12.3 inch screen setup for the infotainment system and digital instrument cluster.

You can also see new AC vents, a touch-based AC control unit along with a chunkier steering wheel not seen in any other Hyundai cars in India before. We also expect Hyundai to offer multiple interior colour and upholstery options based on the variant, a more spacious cabin and a panoramic sunroof as well to brighten up the ambience. 

Features: Long List Of Equipment

The 2025 Venue is expected to get a major improvement to its features list over the outgoing car. In addition to the aforementioned dual screens, it’s expected to get equipment such as a panoramic sunroof, powered and ventilated front seats,  an 8-speaker Bose sound system and ambient lighting.

Safety-wise, Hyundai has confirmed that the Venue will be equipped with an upgraded Level 2 ADAS suite. We also expect Hyundai to give the 2025 Venue features like 6 airbags, electronic stability control, traction control system, 360 degree camera, hill hold assist and an electronic parking brake with auto-hold. 

Powertrain: Why Change What’s Not Broken?

Under the hood, the 2025 Venue is expected to continue with its existing list of powertrains. However, the diesel engine could now be offered with an optional automatic gearbox.  Here are the detailed specifications of the outgoing Hyundai Venue’s powertrain options:

Launch Date And Price: Coming Soon

Hyundai will launch the much-awaited 2025 Venue in India on November 4. While we do not have the pricing details yet, we expect the 2025 Venue to be priced from Rs 8 to Rs 14 lakh (ex-showroom). Stay tuned to this space for more details as and when they are revealed.

Rivals: Usual Suspects

Just like the outgoing Venue, the 2025 model will go up against other subcompact SUVs such as the Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor and Skoda Kylaq.

From the details we have till now, we can see that the 2025 Venue will only take this legacy forward.
