The highly anticipated Tata Curvv will be officially breaking covers on August 7. While the EV version will be launched initially, the ICE (Internal combustion engined) model will be launched soon after that. The Tata Curvv will be marking the entry of an SUV-coupe in the compact SUV segment with its distinctive and unique sloping roof bodystyle.
It is expected to be loaded with all the feature niceties up to the brim and will take on the highly competitive compact SUV segment rivaling the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Skoda Kushaq and Honda Elevate. In this article, we list down 10 such features which the Tata Curvv will be getting over the Skoda Kushaq.
The Tata Curvv, like its elder siblings like the Harrier and Safari, will feature an all LED DRL strip running across the width of the car and a connected LED strip for the tail lights. These LED units also get welcome animation, which further elevates its appearance as it looks premium upon locking or unlocking the car.

The Tata Curvv will be featuring a large panoramic sunroof, which will most likely be offered in the top-spec trims. This feature, not just adds to the premiumness of the vehicle, but also makes the cabin feel more roomier. The Skoda Kushaq on the other hand just gets a single pane sunroof for higher variants.

While the Skoda Kushaq features a smaller 10-inch infotainment system, the Tata Curvv will be featuring a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto along with connected car tech. Its lower variants could get a smaller 10.25-inch screen as well.

The Skoda Kushaq gets a regular 6-speaker sound system while the Tata Curvv will likely be equipped with a premium 9-speaker (likely to be JBL) sound system with subwoofers as found in other Tata cars.
The Tata Curvv will also be equipped with a larger 10.25-inch digital driver’s display which will boast the ability to also display maps in front of the driver while using Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Skoda Kushaq on the other hand gets a simple 8-inch unit without the option for navigation display.

While the Skoda Kushaq gets a single rear view camera with guiding lines, the Tata Curvv will be featuring a 360 degree surround view camera with front and rear parking sensors (likely to be limited to the top-spec trims).

The Skoda Kushaq does not offer any ADAS features. The Tata Curvv on the contrary will be equipped with Level 2 ADAS safety features including emergency braking, collision avoidance, blind spot detection, lane keep assist, and adaptive cruise control.
The Skoda Kushaq misses out on an electronic parking brake, and is equipped with a manually operated parking brake lever. The Tata Curvv on the other hand will be equipped with an electronic parking brake along with an auto-hold functionality.

The Tata Curvv will also feature a segment-first powered tailgate along with gesture control which is useful to open the boot if you’ve got your hands full of luggage. The Skoda Kushaq on the other hand just gets a regular electric tailgate release function.

There are no driving modes being offered in the Skoda Kushaq. But, the Tata Curvv is expected to get multiple driving modes to choose from such as Eco, Comfort and Sport, as found in other Tata cars.
