IPL 2025 is set to begin on March 22, marking its 18th edition. While you’re excited to see Hitman, King Kohli, and Thala light up the pitches over the next month, there’s another star joining the party. Tata Motors, the official sponsor of the tournament has taken this occasion to announce the ‘Chhava’ fame Vicky Kaushal as its brand ambassador from now onwards for its passenger vehicles.
Also, the Tata Curvv will grace the occasion as the official car of IPL 2025. It will be gifted to the Player of the Tournament at the end of this season. Let’s take a closer look at what makes the Curvv special!
The Tata Curvv stands out with its sporty coupe-SUV styling, characterized by a sloping roofline, connected LED headlights and taillights, flush door handles, and striking 18-inch alloy wheels which enhance its futuristic appeal. It is available in eight variants and six colour options.
Inside, the Curvv’s cabin features unique interior shades depending on the variant you pick. If you opt for the top-end variant, it packs bells and whistles such as a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, along with a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display. Other highlights include a panoramic sunroof, a wireless phone charger, multi-colour ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, automatic climate control with rear AC vents, cruise control, and a 9-speaker JBL sound system.
The Curvv is equipped with top-tier safety features, ensuring a secure driving experience. It comes with six airbags, Level-2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). In fact, the Tata Curvv has secured a full 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP.

The Tata Curvv competes with Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Honda Elevate, Volkswagen Taigun and Skoda Kushaq. It has its EV version rivalling the MG ZS EV, Hyundai Creta Electric, Mahindra XUV400 and upcoming Maruti e Vitara.
