More fresh news emerges on the upcoming Creta Electric ahead of its launch at the Auto Expo 2025! Hyundai has revealed new details about the interior and provided us with some of the key specifications related to the dimensions and the storage space for your luggage. The electric iteration’s interior might look familiar to that of the ICE Creta, but it gets certain new elements to set itself apart.
Here is a closer look at the new details:
The dashboard design and layout of the Creta Electric look familiar, but the cabin gets a new dual-tone Granite Grey and Dark Navy colour theme which adds a nice premium touch inside. The seats also get the dual-tone scheme with “Creta Electric” stitched on the seat.

The lower centre console of the electric version has been completely redesigned, and it gets a floating console with open storage space surrounded by tastefully curated blue ambient lighting.

The electric Creta gets 8-way powered seats for both driver and co-driver seats with a memory function for the driver. Just like we have seen in the new Alcazar, you get a Boss mode as well which can be used to adjust the co-driver’s seat according to the rear passenger’s comfort. The seats of the electric Creta are made up of sustainable and eco-friendly materials.

The Creta EV gets a new three-spoke steering wheel with Morse code detailing. Apart from that you get features like dual 10.25-inch displays, dual-zone climate control, ambient lighting, 6 airbags as standard, a 360-degree camera, level-2+ ADAS and more!

Hyundai has revealed that the Creta Electric will boast a 433-litre boot space and in addition to that, it will also get a 22-litre frunk. It boasts a 2610 mm long wheelbase equal to what is offered with the Creta ICE.

The Creta Electric will be offered with two battery packs — 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh. It offers a claimed range of up to 473 km with a larger battery pack. The electric motor produces up to 171 PS, claiming a 0-100 kmph time of 7.9 seconds. The electric SUV is offered in multiple variants and hues. For a more detailed look at its specifications, head over to this story.

The Hyundai Creta Electric is expected to be priced at around Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom). It will go up against the Tata Curvv EV, the MG ZS EV, the Mahindra BE 6 and the upcoming Maruti e Vitara.
