Want to take a closer look at the 2024 Tata Punch EV? You’re at the right place as we have exclusively sourced images of the production-spec model inside out ahead of its launch on January 17. So without wasting any time, let’s jump into the details.

Up front, the 2024 Tata Punch EV gets a Nexon EV-inspired fascia that makes it distinct over the ICE-powered model. Design highlights include a closed off grille, full width DRL, LED headlights and a tweaked front bumper. Keen eyed viewers will also notice that the charging port is at the front, which has a motorised door similar to EVs such as the MG ZS EV and Hyundai Kona Electric.
Save for these new five-spoke alloys, nothing much has changed in the side profile and it looks identical to the standard model. And at the rear-end, the Punch EV looks similar to the petrol model and the only update here is the ‘EV’ badging and a tweaked bumper.

These images offer you a clear first look at the cabin of the 2024 Tata Punch EV. While the overall dashboard layout hasn’t changed much save for the new colour scheme, there are a handful of new elements such as the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system a la the Nexon, two-spoke steering wheel and touch-based controls for the climate control.

Even the lower central console has been revised and the Punch EV gets a rotary gear selector with a display and an electronic parking brake with auto hold. To know about the additional features it comes packing with check out this report where we have detailed the Punch EV’s new features.

The Punch EV will come with two powertrain options: Standard Range and Long Range. Technical specifications are still under wraps. But since the Punch EV will be positioned between the Tigor EV and Nexon EV, you can expect the base model to have specifications similar to the electric sedan, while the top model should mimic the ones of the Nexon EV Medium Range.
Here’s a look at the expected specifications:
