Shaan is a legend in the Indian music industry crafting music that breaks generational barriers

Mercedes-Benz Mumbai just had the honour of delivering a brand new EQS sedan to Shaan Mukherji, famed Indian singer, songwriter, and performer. The artist picked up the non-AMG, i.e., the EQS 580 4Matic electric sedan with his family and here’s a look at his new ride:

It seems like Shaan went for the Sodalite Blue - Metallic paint option for his car. Since it isn’t the AMG-spec model, as we can see the star-studded grille, in contrast to the vertical slats. The clean spec is given a contrast by the chrome elements on the bumper, and on the window line. The entire interior isn’t quite visible but we can see the Neva grey leather seats that will likely be paired with a Balao brown upholstery hue.

Irrespective of the theme he specced it in, the EQS’ cabin oozes opulence with its premium material quality and the rich digital screens that span the width of the bonnet. Maybe he can enjoy some of his old tunes on the Burmester 3D sound system or perhaps even fine-tune a project he might be working on.

As for the specs, the EQS 580 4Matic comes with a 107.8 kWh battery pack that feeds charge to a dual electric motor setup with a combined output of  523 PS and 855 Nm. This setup offers a WLTP-claimed range of up to 693 km. It is quick too, with a 0-100kmph time of 4.3 seconds, which is good enough to shame a few AMG SUVs that are also popular among the B-town stars.

We hope Shaan enjoys and utilises his new ride to the maximum. He isn’t known to be outgoing and flamboyant like most celebrities. As a result, not much is known about his car collection. But wherever this EQS goes, it surely will give good company to the other cars and cement its luxury demeanour just by showing off its sleek lines and digital lights.

The standard Mercedes EQS is retailed at Rs 1.62 crore, while the AMG-spec EQS goes up for Rs 2.45 crore (all prices ex-showroom). Click on the link to know about the EQS’ driving impressions. Mercedes-Benz EQS has no direct rivals in India yet, but is an alternative to sporty electric sedans like the Porsche Taycan and Audi e-tron GT.
