Gets the exact same exterior and interior design as its globally available version, the Wuling Cloud EV.
Features include a 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an 8.8-inch digital driver’s display, a wireless phone charger, and ADAS.
Over the international-spec version, the India-spec one will get a panoramic glass roof.

MG can price it from Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom).
The MG Windsor EV is set to be launched tomorrow as the carmaker’s third electric offering in the country, and it is based on the Wuling Cloud EV which is sold in the Indonesian market. It gets the same exterior and interior design, and will come with a similar feature list, however, the battery pack and claimed range is expected to be different. Here are all the details that have been revealed, and the things we expect from this electric crossover.
Yes, the front end does have a polarizing look due to the bulge which might split opinions. It is unlike any traditional design seen in Indian cars, but that’s what sets it apart. Its overall design is the same as its donor car, the Cloud EV, including the connected LED DRLs, and the oval-shaped headlights placed on the bumper.
The profile has a flat smooth flowing design with flush-fitting door handles, and 18-inch alloy wheels. The rear end comes with a connected LED tail lamp setup and a small bumper with a silver skid plate.

Inside, it will come with an all-black cabin with leatherette seat upholstery and the entire cabin will get copper and wooden inserts for contrast. The seats are black in shade and get copper stitching with a quilted finish.
MG will offer it with a flat bottom setting wheel, ambient lighting, and the rear seats have the ability to recline up to 135 degrees.
The main highlight of the Windsor EV’s cabin is the free floating 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Apart from this screen, it will also come with a panoramic glass roof, and can get features like an 8.8-inch digital driver’s display, wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, a wireless phone charger, automatic climate control, and cruise control.
It terms of passenger safety, it is expected to come with 6 airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), a 360-degree camera, and ADAS (advanced driver assistance systems) features such as lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and autonomous emergency braking.
The Indonesian model comes with a 50.6 kWh battery pack which offers a claimed range of 460 km as per the Chinese testing cycle. This battery pack comes paired with a single electric motor that churns out 136 PS and 200 Nm.

MG can price the Windsor EV from Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards, and it will be a crossover alternative to the Tata Nexon EV and the Mahindra XUV400.
