Start with a small commuter motorcycle. Maybe 100 or 150 cc max. The best way to avoid accidents in future is to learn from the few you will have initially, which hopefully will be low impact. Accidents are inevitable so it is better to have a small bike first and learn what you should not do on a motorcycle before moving up to bigger bikes which are more difficult to handle, especially for a novice rider. Also, get into the habit of riding with proper riding gear from the beginning. Safe riding!

The Interceptor 650 has a weight in excess of 200kgs and for a learner definitely it is not the recommended motorcycle.Instead choose the Yamaha MT-15 or KTM 250 Duke or Suzuki 150 Gixxer all of which are of manageable weight.Hope this helps! Happy riding!

Any 150 cc you wish is fine for you. You can can master driving in one month. Adopting to your city traffic conditions is priority.
