Q. What is best car Maruti Baleno or Ameo?
  • Baleno's famous, Fiat-sourced, 1250cc, Multijet diesel, pales in comparison to Volkswagen's muscular, 1500cc, diesel powertrain. Baleno has quite a bit of turbo-lag, up to 2000 rpm, making it a bit irksome to drive in slow moving traffic. Ameo, on the other hand, has hardly any turbo-lag, and a punchy mid-range, making it perfect for highway duty. Fundamentally, the Ameo, especially the diesel version, is a technically superior automobile than the Baleno. It has ballistic performance, coupled with flawless handling and even a decent fuel economy. It is truly a car tailored to the enthusiast's tastes. However, in the real world, in which the enthusiasts are a rare breed, it is comprehensively beaten by the Baleno. Ameo's biggest let down is Volkswagen's substandard record for reliability and After Sales Service in our Country. Q. Which is better between Ameo and DZire
  • Both are having different features. No comparison. In Ameo you fill uniqueness. Dzire is flooded in market. Safety in Ameo is greater. But after sales service is much easier & cheap for Maruti.
  • In terms of engine smoothness, maintenance and after-sales service Maruti Dzire has an upper hand. Whereas, if look at built quality and safety feature then VW Ameo owns the crowns. Do take a test drive in order to judge your driving comfort.

Q. Is the car good to buy? Since it is the first car and I am totally new without any experience?
  • The Ameo can be a great compact sedan to own if build quality, performance, features and value rank high on your priority list.
