Q. What is the difference between Mahindra XUV700 AX5 and AX7 variant?
- Ax5 loses out on the interior chrome touches, lane assist, driver drowsiness alert, adaptive cruise control, leatherette seats, leather wrapped steering and gear lever, interior soft touch points, powerfolding orvm, 2nd row armrest, electronic parking brake, esp, brake assist, 18 inch alloys, automatic headlamps, rain sensing wipers, electronic seat adjust, reverse camera, automatic ac, dual zone ac, side airbags, air purifier, front parking sensors, steering mounted controls for right side, dashboard piano black finish and more.. while the price differnce is just 2.6 lakhs ex showroom.. so i highly suggest skip ax5 and consider the ax7 variant but the only drawback is the longer waiting period of almost 2 years compared to the 10 months on ax5. if you add the luxury pack in to considerations ax5 loses out on even more features

The lower variant is available with a 5-seating layout and can be had either with a 2-litre turbo-petrol or a 2.2-litre diesel engine option. For the diesel engine, the MX is detuned to 155PS/360Nm and is limited to a 6-speed manual gearbox and front-wheel drive. Whereas, the AX variant gets the more powerful 185PS state of tune from its 2.2-litre diesel engine, as well as the 6-speed torque converter automatic and all-wheel drive options. After clocking over 5,000 kilometers in my Citroen C3 Aircross it is been a mixed bag of French flair and practical challenges. Its 1.2 liter turbo petrol engine offers adequate performance posting around 110 PS and the ride comfort is quite good with well tuned suspension handling India's varied destination effectively. Its price tag feels a bit unfair considering the features and space limitations. The C3 Aircross is a bold attempt but a few improvements could really boost its appeal to the Indian market.

Having driven the Citroen C3 Aircross for a few months now it is quirky design and comfort focused drive stand out. The suspension is tuned to iron out most road imperfections typical of Indian roads making every journey smoother. It is large interior with a cleverly designed boot allows for sufficient luggage a advantage for family outings. One unsatisfied point though is the engine noise under hard acceleration which becomes pronounced somewhat taking away from the otherwise quite cabin experience. The lack of some advanced safety features which are becoming standard in competing brands is also felt.

Citroen C3 Aircross is a family-friendly car model and is my favourite. It is a compact yet spacious car and has a good seating capacity that is also very comfortable for the passengers. It has manual transmission and good mileage. The price range is very affordable and promises a great performance. The maintenance is quite manageable and service cost is average. I have had one of my best driving experiences with this car model.

The Citroen C3 Aircross is mainly known for its looks it stands out with its unique and bold design, featuring split headlights and two-tone paint options (head-turning exterior). Talking about the performance the 1.2-liter turbo engine offers good pick-up and nice performance, perfect for city driving .The spacious cabin with comfortable seats provides me a pleasant ride, even on long journeys (great for families). Good ground clearance handles rough roads well. It only lacks on the advance features thats why it is not loved by my childrens .
