As seen in the table, the XUV700 comes with more potent and larger-sized petrol and diesel engines. Both SUVs get a standard 6-speed manual. The Alcazar’s petrol engine is paired with a 7-speed DCT, while the other engines mentioned above come with a 6-speed torque converter. Here, the XUV700 offers you a choice of an all-wheel-drive setup, which will be more appealing to those who drive on multiple types of terrains.
Both Mahindra XUV700 and Hyundai Alcazar facelift tick most of the boxes if you are in the market looking for a 6 or 7-seater SUV. Even though both are mid-sized SUVs that are priced similarly, they have a different feel and appeal.
The XUV700 is ideal for you if you want a larger SUV which offers more road presence and has the more dominating looks. It should also be considered if you want an all-wheel drive SUV that can be taken to more challenging terrains and places where the Alcazar will find it difficult to go. The larger SUV also packs larger engines which offer more output, especially when you compare the diesel ones.
The Alcazar facelift, on the other hand, offers a better experience in the second row thanks to its 6-seater layout with seat ventilation and boss mode function. It gets more features, especially for the rear seat passengers making it the more ideal SUV if you want to be chauffeur driven. So if you are someone who likes to be driven around more than driving around, the Alcazar facelift would be the better option.
