Q. What about the mileage? Which one should I prefer to buy Himayan or Thunderbird? If Thunderbird, 350 or 350X 500? Which should I prefer to buy - Himalayan?
  • Its depend on you that which type of ride you like. if you want royal feel 101% thunderbird (thunderbird 350 gives 40++ avrg/ltrs or 500 gives 20 to 23) and if u want adventures ride so himalayan is best. but i prefer if avrg is not a big matter so you should go for thunderbird 500.
  • Himalayan will give you 28-30 kmpl whereas Thunderbird 350 / 350X will give you 45+ kmpl, TB500 will give you 25+kmpl the worst all of these.

Q. Sir which is better himalyan or thunderbird 500x?
  • Always depends on what your requirement is, in addition, always decide post a good test ride. For me, Himalayan is the better pick, simply because it is vibe free, has a great suspension setup and if you're keen on it, can go off road with ease (this depends on your skills too of course). The TB 500X's biggest advantage I can see is the alloy wheels and the tubeless tyres setup. This is the biggest drawback of the Himalayan according to me, but carrying an add-on electric air pump eases the pain. Of course, off roading and bad roads can damage alloys hence the spoke wheel setup on Himalayan. The TB 500X will vibrate at anything above 90kmph, while the Himalayan can go to 120 without any vibes. All that said, it is purely your choice. Both are good bikes.
  • Hi, I owned Himalayan from more than a year and I use it for my long ride as well as daily commute. I ride it almost 70 km daily from my house to office and I feel great experience about my bike. I also rode my friend's Thunderbird, but I take my decision in one test ride of Himalayan. It just looks big and hard to ride but believe me it's very much comfortable and easy to handle on highway or in heavy city traffic. It's a beast on off-road track. I never feel exhausted after a full day long ride. There are mainor issues in this bike but I m not sure that these are actually issues or just normal things like Knocking sound in handle bar after every long ride, chain loosen up very frequently and other small things which I have to go to workshop after long rides, only headlamp light is not sufficient. So I suggest you make your decision wisely.
  • Hi, I dont think anyone will be able to answer this becaus both the bikes are from different genre or class. - Hinalayan being an off roader or, as they say "purpose built" bike has everything different than Thunderbird being a highway or a cruiser bike. I enjoy riding Thunderbird 500 on a highway but, I enjoy exploring smaller towns and new roads on a Hinalayan. So, you ask yourself if you are a highway person or an explorer who might get different roads after every new turn. - Hinalayan, having bit less mileage than thunderbird, may give you more powerful pleasure by pushing the bike gear after gear. But, thunderbird will give you more of a relaxed and a happy ride whole day. I hope you find your answer in my philosophies for both.

Q. Which should I buy Himalayan or Thunder Bird or Dominar 400?
  • Depends on your riding style. Himalayan is a raw bike with true capabilities, comfortable long rides as well as off road rides with good torque. There is no issue when riding in city traffic. Dominar is performers bike with power, pickup, top speed, new age styling . but may be not comfortable as himalayan in long ride. Thunderbird is equipped with the RE 350/500 engine. That mean vibrations on 90+km/hr speed. It offers classic look, comfort ride at 70-80 cruising on highway.
  • यह अापके उपयोग, के उपर निर्भर करता है।
  • It depends on the type of ride you will do with your bike.
