Kawasaki Ninja 400 and KTM RC 390 Competitors

Recently Asked User Questions

Q. Which is the best in 400cc segment between KTM RC390 and Kawasaki Ninja400?
  • The Ninja 400 is identical to the older model, carrying on with the 399cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine with 45.3PS and 37Nm on tap. This bike now also gets an updated slip-and-assist clutch that Kawasaki claims, has 20% lighter lever action than before. This should make it effortless to ride on roads with stop-go traffic. On the other hand, the ABS, much better tyres, projector headlamps, more power, and all this at a cheaper price, makes the RC390 feel like a bargain. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for details.
Q. Which one should I buy Ninja 400 or KTM RC 390 or BMW 310 GS?
  • All three bikes are good in their own forte. The 2022 Kawasaki Ninja 400 is priced at Rs 4,99,000, ex-showroom Delhi, which is the same price as the previous-gen bike. Mechanically, the Ninja 400 is identical to the older model, carrying on with the 399cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine with 45.3PS and 37Nm on tap. The 2022 Kawasaki Ninja 400 will come with a twin-LED headlamp and a semi-digital instrument cluster. If we talk about RC 390, while maintaining its sporty nature, KTM has also managed to make the 2022 RC 390 a bit more practical when it comes to everyday riding. This is done via a wider clip-on handlebar, redesigned split (and more cushioned) seat setup and a larger tank to better grip with your knees. On the other hand, improvements to the engine, suspension and brakes have significantly enhanced the overall riding experience of the baby GS. It feels more polished, is more capable off-road, and has better equipment for an asking price that’s not only cheaper than before but also much more affordable than the KTM 390. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride for a better understanding of performance and comfort. Click on the link and select your desired city and brand for dealership details.
Q. Which is better KTM RC 390 or KTM 390 Duke
  • There is no doubt in this tht KTM is highly reputed company but I want to share my experience, I have ktm rc390 and have done hardly 29000 km on it. You can check me service records, all services are before time.. but my bike has started leaving black smoke. It has just done 29000km and leaving black smoke. It's engine oil level decrease drastically.I have give my bike in ktm service station, total cost is above 50000 Rs. That too it l take month to get repaired. Once u have purchased this bike, there is no good support from KTM. Every one is just looting money from you. You can just imagine the quality of engine which starts burning engine oil just after 29000 km.
  • My bike is ktm rc 390 ...Why i choosed this model because first of all i think rc is looking more musculr than duke ...if we look at its specifications both rc and duke having the same except its handling and ride postureBefore rc i had r15/pulsar 220 both are more or less same on its riding posture and handlingIf we look at duke its a staright sitting naked bike And i test drived once at that time i felt its little hard to ride in traffic means to do very tricky to make a fast manoeuvre rest in highways it gives a good rodong posture with no back pain or shoulder painThen also why i choose rc my mainly because of its handling and look
  • Both are powerful performance bikes...they are made to do drift or race..drift bi Duke 390 with supetmoto mode in which you can unlock rear abs for drifting lowers..can be used for short commute not touring..Rc 390 is a proper race track beast for leaning in the track..ultimate midrange..handling...which one is better? buy according to your needs...but Duke does all what rc does and more with supetmoto mode...

    Best Bike Ever

The 2023 Kawasaki Ninja 400 is an all-new model that takes the place of the popular Ninja 300. It's equipped with a 399cc parallel-twin engine, churning out 45 horsepower and 28 lb-ft of torque. This represents a significant power boost compared to the Ninja 300, which had 39 horsepower and 20 lb-ft of torque. The Ninja 400 comes with a host of upgrades, including a new, lighter, and stiffer chassis, more adjustable suspension, and more potent brakes, featuring dual 310mm discs in the front and a single 220mm disc in the rear. In terms of performance, the Ninja 400 is a substantial improvement over the Ninja 300. It's faster, more agile, and its brakes are more effective. Additionally, the new chassis and suspension contribute to a more comfortable riding experience. Pros: More powerful engine compared to the Ninja 300. Lighter and stiffer chassis. More adjustable suspension. More powerful brakes. Improved comfort due to the new chassis and suspension. Cons: Relatively high price point. Fewer features compared to some competitors. Overall, the 2023 Kawasaki Ninja 400 is an excellent motorcycle suitable for both beginners and experienced riders. It offers speed, agility, and comfort, along with several upgrades over its predecessor, the Ninja 300. However, it should be noted that it comes at a somewhat higher price and may not offer as many features as some of its competitors. If you're in the market for a new 400cc motorcycle, the Ninja 400 is certainly worth considering, as it ranks among the top motorcycles in its class and promises years of enjoyable riding experiences.

    Prices back

Amegif i had to use one word to describe the kawasaki ninja 400 as soon as i hopped off after my first ride on it, It would be “shocking”! now this small(ish) capacity ninja isn’t new to shocking us… the first time it did so was when kawasaki announced the prices back in april of this year. Now though, It’s giving us that good-kinda shock.Because after years of getting somewhat insipid 250s and 300s, This 400 finally feels like a proper kawasaki! and here’s why.Ing.
