Embarking on an Adventure with the Skoda Kushaq

I recently became the proud owner of a Skoda Kushaq and I was attracted by its robust design which is promising a blend of performance and practicality. The Kushaq with engine options of 1.0L TSI and 1.5L TSI offered a decent mileage of around 17 km/l and 19 km/l, respectively which was slightly more appealing on paper than in practice specially in city conditions. The SUV felt right at home on the Indian roads with its ground clearance handling speed bumps and potholes admirably. Inside the comfort and tech features like the touchscreen infotainment system made every drive enjoyable.

Seating height

I drove ambition-automatic 2023 model. The seating height is good with clear front view.Pick-up and accelaration is awesome with good traction.Sound damping is really good.Company fitted music system is quiet loud and clear. This car is complete in all sense.Over all the car dynamics are good.Only 2 things i felt are annoying (random basis)hybrid off button needs to be switched off every-time engine shuts down which becomes little annoying, Sudden braking on red lights switches off the engine.Other one is braking noise on low speeds or in traffic jam(which is operational noise in 1.0l engine).Overall the driving experience is the best in class. Its a car to be loved by driving enthusiast and car lovers.

I have been driving skoda

I have been driving skoda kushaq 1.5 since december 21, And it really feels pleasure to drive after having driven diesel cars for a decade and a half.It is definitely very silent especially in the highways, With a city average being around 11 and on highways at about 15.In terms of power i didn’t feel any lack of power, And although the suspension is a little on the stiffer side, But overall there is low body roll and better stability even on high speeds.Braking is again excellent and over all build quality is superb.I really liked their airsense feature that routinely lets fresh air to ensure a safe and comfortable ride. The ventillated seats are more like a gimmick. The infotainment system is quite standard though for a car that costs close to 18 lakhs, But it works efficiently. However considering that the vw had targeted indian market with this car, I wish they had given a bigger boot space, As at times i feel the space ain’t enough.A little bigger boot space would have gone a long way considering for an average customer it is going to be his family car.The other thing which i didn’t like was the seating for middle person in the back, Although i haven’t seen a proper 5 seater in this segment, But considering it’s a car that’s being designed for indian market; it might have been a great addition.

The new facelift offers exterior as well interior changes with noticeable alloy wheels and a color combination on the dashboard, Which bring out more definition to the car along with a fully digital instrumental console. And in safety features, It tops, With abs with ebd, Rollover protection, Multi-collision braking, And hill hold control. It is a good catch in this price range.
