Skoda has provided the kushaq with two turbo-petrol engines: 115ps/175nm 1.0-litre and 150ps/250nm 1.5-litre.A 6-speed manual is offered as standard for both engines.Optional automatic transmissions are a 6-speed torque converter (for the smaller 1-litre) and a 7-speed dsg (for the 1.5-litre unit). The 1.0-litre unit returns an arai-claimed fuel efficiency of 17.88kmpl (manual) and 15.78kmpl (automatic).I think a diesel engine option was a must and a definite need for the users like me.

Two issues are haunting me

I bought kushaq style automatic about 6 months ago. No doubt, driving kushaq is a pleasure. But two issues are haunting me, mileage is 7 km/l on average, From day one . Initially I thought it would set itself after running for sometime. Also I thought it's software data showing 19 km/l wrongly. But when I tested manually and with long time experience, I found out that the actual mileage is not more than 7 kmpl in city. I tried outstation too but it is hardly giving 10 to 11. I don't know if I got a wrong/defective piece. Apart from that there is another irritating issue is that, Driver's side window doesn't close automatically on pressing the up button. I have to try again and again to shut it up completely.

Amazing Car With Good Features

4.0

Skoda retails the kushaq from rs 10.99 lakh to rs 18.19 lakh (ex-showroom pan-india).It rivals the mg astor, Hyundai creta, Kia seltos, Tata harrier, Mg hector, Renault duster, And volkswagen taigun.According to me skoda kushaq is a very competitive vehicle in the segment and gives tough competition to the cars in the segment. My experience with this car is very good and i love to drive this car for long time it is very comfortable.

The new facelift offers exterior as well interior changes with noticeable alloy wheels and a color combination on the dashboard, Which bring out more definition to the car along with a fully digital instrumental console. And in safety features, It tops, With abs with ebd, Rollover protection, Multi-collision braking, And hill hold control. It is a good catch in this price range.

Interior quality

5.0

The skoda kushaq’s top-spec style automatic trim now will be offered only with six airbags.Earlier, It was offered with an option of two- and six airbags. The style at initially came with only two airbags at the time of launch, And the six airbags alternative was introduced later. It is a good decision by the company as the top specs model is expensive so it must come with more safety and other features as well.
