Segment first features

I bought Kushaq Active 1.0 TSI MT which is a base model and comes with manual transmission system and it comes with the segment first features like electric adjustable seat for the driver and passangers. It comes with the good storage space and get a good boot space and in terms of safety it is fully occupied. The interior is very nice and it performs very great on the bad roads and get a refined engine that is also a good fuel efficient and the power it gives is very nice.

Very demanding

Skoda Kushaq is a compact SUV that excels in both style and performance. Its turbocharged engine delivers impressive power and fuel efficiency, making it a joy to drive on city streets and highways alike. The spacious interior provides ample room for passengers and cargo, while the comfortable seats ensure a pleasant ride, even on long journeys. The Kushaq's build quality is top-notch, with robust construction and a range of safety features, including airbags and stability control. However, the infotainment system could be more intuitive, and some may find the ride a bit firm over rough roads. Overall, the Skoda Kushaq offers a winning combination of style, performance, and practicality.

Practical and Top-grade Car

The Skoda Kushaq is a modern and stylish mid-sized SUV offering robust European engineering and upscale design both inside and out. With spacious seating, comfortable ergonomics, and enjoyable driving dynamics thanks to its engine options, it's a practical choice for those seeking both style and performance in a crossover.

Premium cabin quality

The engine feels very powerful and the braking system is very strong and the riding is very comfortable. the highway fuel efficiency is very good and feels very smooth and the cabin is very premium. The dasdboard provides high quality of plastic and the driver seat provides excellent comfort and gives good finishing. the petrol engine is powerful with the good driving dynamics but the diesel engine is missing. It is a very classic looking SUV with a very good safety features but the second row space could be better.

Super awesome

Had an amazing customer service while purchasing the car.Got the delivery 1 week before committed date.I had asked for a pdi and the dealer dint show any hesitation & called me over1for it and let me do a thorough examination.Post delivery service was also great attending to all my1questions.1.The car is a sheer drivers delight. The 1.5 mt engine is super awesome. The additional premium on the car is completely justified when you drive the1car.2.The fuel efficiency was 17-20 km/l on highway and 12-14 km/l on city rides.3.Steering adjustment ( tilt & telescopic) helped find the right driving position1& though on lighter side its still precise & helped instilled confidence.4.Clutch & gearbox are1very smooth.Stability is great with almost minimal body roll.5.Suspension was comfortable, However a bit on1the stiffer side.6.Boot space was the eyebrow raiser as i could pack in more bags than the creta ! 7.Storage1spaces are well done with the cooled gloves box capable of holding several 200 ml cans for a refreshing drink1on a hot driving day.8.Ventilated seats are a boon on the hot highway drives.9.Touch screen has high1resolution and very slick and easy to use.10.Comfortable seats and a lovely 2 spoke steering with leather finish is very stylish.Cons: 1.A/c controls being touch, Its tough to set it up without taking your eyes off the road. Also the cooling is1average & not excellent.2.A digital instrument cluster like the one in skoda kamiq would have done1wonders.3.Some bits of the car ( like roof lining ) etc have some cost cutting but those are mostly areas1where your eyes would look once a while. So not a deal breaker.Service & maintenance : expect 6000/- yearly1including labor.Recommend taking the 4 yrs maintenance package as its cheaper in the longer run.Verdict: if1you want a performance car with sensible features with good build & safety then buy this car without a1doubt.The only other car matching this performance in the underrated beast nissan kicks 1.3 turbo but it has some ergonomic issues & a dull interior. However, Kicks is the only car that goes head1on head with this car's performance.

I have been driving skoda

I have been driving skoda kushaq 1.5 since december 21, And it really feels pleasure to drive after having driven diesel cars for a decade and a half.It is definitely very silent especially in the highways, With a city average being around 11 and on highways at about 15.In terms of power i didn’t feel any lack of power, And although the suspension is a little on the stiffer side, But overall there is low body roll and better stability even on high speeds.Braking is again excellent and over all build quality is superb.I really liked their airsense feature that routinely lets fresh air to ensure a safe and comfortable ride. The ventillated seats are more like a gimmick. The infotainment system is quite standard though for a car that costs close to 18 lakhs, But it works efficiently. However considering that the vw had targeted indian market with this car, I wish they had given a bigger boot space, As at times i feel the space ain’t enough.A little bigger boot space would have gone a long way considering for an average customer it is going to be his family car.The other thing which i didn’t like was the seating for middle person in the back, Although i haven’t seen a proper 5 seater in this segment, But considering it’s a car that’s being designed for indian market; it might have been a great addition.

Seating height

I drove ambition-automatic 2023 model. The seating height is good with clear front view.Pick-up and accelaration is awesome with good traction.Sound damping is really good.Company fitted music system is quiet loud and clear. This car is complete in all sense.Over all the car dynamics are good.Only 2 things i felt are annoying (random basis)hybrid off button needs to be switched off every-time engine shuts down which becomes little annoying, Sudden braking on red lights switches off the engine.Other one is braking noise on low speeds or in traffic jam(which is operational noise in 1.0l engine).Overall the driving experience is the best in class. Its a car to be loved by driving enthusiast and car lovers.
