Bajaj V15 Power Up Pros and Cons

V15 Power Up Positives Points: Engine, Price, Unique design

V15 Power Up Negatives Points: Limited numbers

Zigwheels Expert's Conclusion : Bajaj will soon be launching the V15 Power Up. This new model makes 13PS and 13Nm of torque which is 1PS and 0.3Nm more than the current V15. While mechanically the rest of the bike remains unchanged, it gets new and larger graphics. The Bajaj V15 has been positioned as a 150cc commuter offering and the fuel tank has been crafted using metal from INS Vikrant, the country's first aircraft carrier

Comfortable ride

5.0

The bajaj v15 power up is a popular commuter motorcycle that carries the legacy of the ins vikrant aircraft carrier in its design. It features a 149.5cc single-cylinder engine that produces around 13 bhp of power and 13 nm of torque. The bike's distinctive design and patriotic theme have been well-received by customers. In terms of performance, The v15 power up offers decent power for city commuting and occasional highway rides. The engine is known for its refinement and fuel efficiency, Making it suitable for daily use.The suspension setup and seating position provide a comfortable ride, And the bike handles well in urban traffic. The build quality of the v15 power up is generally good, With a solid feel and attention to detail in its design. The bike features a unique fuel tank that incorporates metal from the ins vikrant, Which adds to its character. However, There have been some criticisms as well. The bike's power might feel a bit limited for those seeking more aggressive performance, Especially on highways. Some users have also reported issues with vibrations at higher speeds. The features on the v15 power up are fairly basic, Focusing on practicality rather than advanced technology. It comes with standard essentials like an analogue-digital instrument cluster, Electric start, And alloy wheels. In summary, The bajaj v15 power up is a distinctive and practical commuter motorcycle with a unique design concept. It's a suitable option for riders looking for a comfortable and efficient daily commuter with a touch of patriotism in its style. However, If you're seeking more performance or advanced features, You might want to consider other options in the market.

yes its still happens

The performance was good in both local commutes & highway rides. And i'm getting 48 kmpl on local and 51 on highway long rides.Still i'm using this bco's it's so close to me, That's what i can say. And coming to that vibration yes its still happens after riding on 90 km speed, Feels that more vibrations on handle & foot bars, Even though it's getting periodically maintenance along with changing the engine oil every 2100 kms. I know that the manufacturing process was stopped bcos, They could not get better response from the customers and lack of the low height pillion seat, Not having a digital instrument cluster, Whereas the same pulsar 150 cc got, Of course the missing mono of shock absorber, Like wise etc.The main part of bajaj would re considered these complaints in future models also and try to arrest the vibrations from the segments of 150 cc bike while riding up in 100 km speed. (minimal can accept boss).

Bought bike

3.0

nice bike but meanwhile after 2 years maintainence cost getting high spending more than 30k for maintainece where I bought bike for 72k.. it's awesome for ride look very stylish.. where I using daily travelling minimum 30 km to 40 in a day. its usual when I travel too much most problem you can face like chainpacket.. some time you cant able to recognise petrol meters.. usual bike got normal pickup not too much impressive and m not keen to run so speed very very moment i tried maximum speed whwhich is 80. bike will shake when you cross above 80 it will take max 100 if you keep moving.. road grip is quite low where I faced fearistic moment when I crossing in the curves in little high speed .. some times experienced back pain who sits behind now I have changed and altered seat which is quite ok.. overall it's good bike if you use for office to home... rough use no problem but it will increase maintenance cost.

Spare parts

Pros: appears big in its class. Ok for a single raider with 84 kg weight. Cons: The engine is almost lifeless, breaking is just ok, poor mileage, drags with 2 people, shocks are the worst, engine rattles from 3rd gear onwards. The gear shifting is a mess can't do swift overtaking. Tyre grip is also worst (i have changed the tyres to MRF and am feeling better). Fitting and finishing is very low quality. Bajaj is cheating people on the name of war heroes. Now they stopped supply of spare parts too.

I have been using Bajaj v15

3.8

I have been using bajaj v15 for the past 6 years. The built quality and design is really good but the bike struggles with stability once it clocks 100kmph.The mileage with time has decreased and gives around 35kmpl.Hope bajaj comes up with an upgrade in near future.

Bajaj v 15 is one

5.0

Bajaj v 15 is one of the best bikes. The bike is very useful for daily use and highways.I had been to bongaigaon, Tezpur, Shillong etc without any problem.I would request bajaj motorcycles to restart the manufacturing of v-15.
