  • Existing turbo-petrol and diesel engine options should be carried forward.
  • Launch is expected to happen sometime in 2024.

Spy shots of the 2024 Mahindra XUV300 facelift’s cabin have surfaced online, giving us a sneak peek of its revised dashboard without camouflage. This is the first major design update for Mahindra’s sub-4 metre SUV, which has been on sale since February 2019. So without further ado, let’s get cracking to see what all has changed in the updated 2024 Mahindra XUV300.

The 2024 Mahindra XUV300 facelift’s redesigned dashboard will get a new floating touchscreen infotainment system that’s larger than the current model’s 7-inch unit. It should be available with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as connected car tech. Along with the new infotainment system, the centre AC vents are now horizontally laid out and are a lot sleeker.

Below it are the familiar physical controls for the dual-zone climate control, and the steering wheel has been carried over from the current car as well.

Along with the redesigned dashboard, Mahindra could also take this opportunity to introduce new features such as a 360-degree camera, wireless phone charger and probably ventilated seats as well. Bits such as a sunroof, automatic climate control, steering-mounted audio controls, cruise control, six airbags, and electronic stability control should be retained.

Underneath the hood, you can expect the 110PS 1.2-litre turbo-petrol, 130PS 1.2-litre T-GDI turbo-petrol and a 117PS 1.5-litre diesel to be unchanged. A 6-speed manual is standard for all engines, while the base petrol and diesel engines get an optional 6-speed AMT.

With the numerous updates, we suspect the updated XUV300 could command a premium over the current model that’s priced from Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It will continue to lock horns with the Kia Sonet, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Nissan Magnite and the facelifted Tata Nexon.
