Triumph Thruxton 400 Could Be Launched This Year

It's been a long wait since Triumph Motorcycles first showcased their product range at the 2012 Auto Expo in Delhi. The wait is now over as the British motorcycle manufacturer brings its range to Indian shores. Spread across five categories namely the Classics, Roadsters, Adventure, Cruisers and Supersports; the 10 models launched today are as follows: Triumph Bonneville, Bonneville T100, Speed Triple, Street Triple, Thruxton, Tiger 800 XC, Tiger Explorer, Thunderbird Storm, Daytona 675R and Rocket III Roadster.
Ex-showroom India prices for these 10 models are as follows:
Triumph will open exclusive showrooms in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Hyderabad to begin with and will commence with its bookings from the second week of December. The Bangalore and Hyderabad dealerships will be operational next month, the Delhi and Mumbai in January, while Pune, Kochi, Kolkata, Ahmedabad and Chennai dealerships by March 2014.
The company has also confirmed that it has invested in a parts warehouse in India too and that India will be one of the first markets to get the 250cc motorcycle sometime in mid 2015. Triumph India is targeting 400-500 motorbikes to be sold in the next six months, 1,000 plus by FY 2013-14 and 1,500 plus by FY 2014-15. Triumph financial year starts in June and it will begin with deliveries from the first week of January 2014!
