MG Windsor EV bookings are now open.
Deliveries will begin this Dussehra on October 12.
It is available in three variants: Excite, Exclusive and Essence.
Gets a 38 kWh battery pack and a claimed range of 331 km.
Priced between Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 15.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
We’d be lying if we say we didn’t think of the MG Windsor EV when asked about a unique car launched lately. The electric crossover looks fresh in the flesh and has plenty of features, more than what you’d expect at the price point. Oh, and of course, if you’re impressed with all that the car has to offer, you can now book it officially with or without the cost of the battery being included in the ex-showroom price (as part of MG’s innovative BaaS program).
With that done, you can expect to bring it to your garage anytime from October 12 onwards. Let’s make a quick in-depth revision of the car.
The MG Windsor EV is equipped with plenty of features, some of which are also best-in-segment. Key features include:
A 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay
An 8.8-inch digital driver’s display
A fixed panoramic glass roof
A 9-speaker Infinity sound system.
Ventilated seats in the front row
135-degree reclining rear seats for lounge-like comfort
256-colour ambient lighting which expands from the dashboard to the door panels and you can change it as per your mood.
To take care of your safety, the EV comes equipped with:
Six airbags.
Hill start assist and hill descent control.
Electronic stability control (ESC).
Electronic parking brake with auto hold.
Tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
360-degree camera with rear parking sensors.
The MG Windsor EV comes with a single 38 kWh battery pack option.
The motor returns an output of 136 PS and 200 Nm to its front wheels.
With this battery unit, the car gets a claimed range of 332 km.
The battery gets a maximum DC fast charging capacity of up to 45 kW.
You can have a 3.3 kW or a 7.4 kW AC charger for home charging.

At its price point, it stands as a direct rival to the Tata Punch EV. While as of features and specifications it can also be considered as an alternative to Tata Nexon EV and Mahindra XUV400.
