Skoda Yeti Discontinued To Make Room For Kodiaq

Skoda has revealed the brand-new 2014 Skoda Yeti Xtreme concept car which will make its public debut on May 28, at the 2014 Worthersee Festival in Austria. The new 2014 Skoda Yeti Xtreme Concept is described as a compact SUV with rally car ambitions and comes with a more racy exterior.
The matte grey Yeti Xtreme receives new tinted side windows, new wheel inserts and a more aggressive front bumper with a larger air intake and LED lights. Skoda claims the height of the chassis can also be adjusted. A revised bumper also features at the rear, alongside new dual exhausts. The show car sits on 17-inch alloy wheels and large off-road tyres. The new car comes with an all-wheel-drive system.
The interior exudes a premium feel. The new car gets four individual Recaro seats with integrated four-point safety belts along with ‘Super Sport’ steering wheel with integrated gearshift paddles, carbon fiber parts, and an aluminum floor panel. The colour and trim package includes carbon fibre elements and Alcantara surface with green colour accents. An iPad cradle is integrated into the dashboard alongwith a first aid kit into the glove box.
The new Skoda Yeti Xtreme is equipped with a 1.8-litre TSI engine which produces 150PS of power and 250Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed DSG transmission. Skoda claims that the Yeti accelerates from 0-100kmph in nine seconds with a top speed of about 192kmph.
This new car will be showcased alongside the new Skoda CitiJet concept car developed by the Skoda apprentices at the 2014 Worthersee festival.
