    Just as the bookings for the Revolt RV400 were about to commence, the Maharashtra government has made it even sweeter for those who were going electric. A new state subsidy scheme for electric vehicles has made buying electrics quite a lot more affordable. Here’s the new price of the Revolt RV400 in Pune and Mumbai:

    Now, these incentives will not directly be handed to the customer. Instead it will go to the company, Revolt in this case here, which will pass on the benefits to the buyer by lowering the asking price.

    The Rs 31,000 subsidy amount will only be valid until the end of 2021. The Maharashtra government has given an extra Rs 15,000 early bird incentive for early adopters, hence the attractive amount. Come January 1, 2022, and the amount will be slashed to Rs 16,000.
