Renault opens new dealership in Gujarat

Renault India has inaugurated its first dealership in Jamnagar. The new outlet, Renault Jamnagar, is located near Essar Petrol Pump, Rajkot Highway, Hapa. Set up in partnership with Dharti Motors Pvt Ltd this outlet brings up Renault’s showroom count in the country to 164.

Speaking on this occasion, Sumit Sawhney, Country CEO and Managing Director, Renault India, said, “We have a clear focus on growing the Renault brand in India, and expanding our network presence is imperative to achieve this objective. We are working towards making our products and services more accessible across the country, with an equal focus on growing our presence in metros, as in the hinterlands of India.

“The launch of our dealership in Jamnagar today showcases this intent, and we look forward to extending our presence in this important market. Through Renault Jamnagar, we will offer customers an excellent brand experience - from the test drive, to delivery and after-sales support, and promise a long-serving relationship with the Renault brand,” he further added.

The dealership – Renault Jamnagar is spread across 25,000 sq ft and can display five car models.  It has a service area with 10 bays, along with a paint booth, body shop and facilities for wheel alignment, wheel balancing and engine repairs. Renault has expanded its wings to 164 dealer locations across the country in just three years and intends to reach 280 dealer touch points by the end of 2015.

The carmaker currently sells the Renault Fluence, Renault Scala, Renault Duster, Renault Koleos, Renault Lodgy, Renault Pulse and the Renault Kwid in India.
