Maruti Suzuki Victoris Introduces 6 New Features That You Have Never Seen Before In A Maruti!

Driving a car from point A to point B is not the only criteria that buyers nowadays look into! They want features, and to fulfill that need, most automakers are giving their level best to offer as much as they possibly can in each of their cars. The newly revealed Maruti Suzuki Victoris is the popular Indian automaker’s newest entrant on our shores, and is fully loaded with plenty of feel-good features in addition to the essential ones. 

In this report, we take a look at the 6 first-time features that the Maruti Victoris introduces on a Maruti car: 

Multi-colour Ambient Lighting 

Maruti has introduced the Victoris with as many as 64 colours of ambient lighting to set the mood right during your long road trips or on a tiring drive back from your office. On the dashboard, you get a cool-looking pattern that projects the ambient lighting. Additionally, ambient lighting is also present in the footwell area and door pads, near the handles.

Yes, the Grand Vitara also gets ambient lighting, but it is not multi-colour as the one you get with the Victoris. 

10.25-inch Touchscreen Infotainment System

Most Maruti cars in India come with the familiar 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, but Maruti has now introduced a larger 10.25-inch unit with the Victoris. You get all your necessary amenities like wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as connected car tech. If you opt for the hybrid version, there is plenty of information that you get to see about how the hybrid system works in real-time.  

10.25-inch Digital Driver’s Display

You might have probably seen a 7-inch driver’s display with the Grand Vitara and the flagship Invicto. However, this time, Maruti has offered a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display with the Victoris. This provides all the vital information to the driver, and you also get a head-up display providing driving details. 

Level-2 ADAS 

The Victoris becomes the first-ever Maruti car to get ADAS or Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. The Victoris is, in fact, level-2 (ADAS) compliant and gets key safety features like automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, and lane de parture warning. With most manufacturers offering this advanced safety, it clearly made sense for Maruti to also offer it with their new car. We expect Maruti to soon introduce this premium safety feature with the ICE Grand Vitara as well.

8-speaker Infinity Sound System!

This one will surely be a favourite among most buyers! We Indians love listening to music while driving, and for that, you need a nice audio system, such as the 8-speaker Infinity audio system powered by Harman Kardon. The Victoris is the first Maruti to get more than 6 speakers, and that too, a branded one! With this sound system, Maruti promises a theatre-like experience, offering a surround sound system with the Dolby Atmos 5.1 channel support.

Underbody CNG Setup

Maruti has very smartly given the Victoris CNG an underbody CNG setup that ensures that the CNG kit does not take up the boot space. So while you will have to compromise on top-end features with the Victoris CNG, boot space is not something you will have to sacrifice. This is the first Maruti to get this unique CNG setup, and we expect Maruti to offer this new system on upcoming Maruti models as well.

Prices of the Victoris have not been revealed yet, but looking at the features and the overall package, the Victoris looks promising. The new-age features add a unique experience for a Maruti, and while most Maruti cars get a similar-looking interior, this one aims to step up the game and offer a more high-end experience.
