Maruti’s latest SUV, the Victoris, makes its debut as a model that’s not only the carmaker’s second compact SUV but also raises expectations. While its styling does catch the eye, it’s the feature set that make the Victoris a more interesting choice. These include not only convenience equipment, but also a suite of safety-focused features. Let’s walk through the five highlights that stand out the most, with a bonus at the end.

The Victoris is the first Maruti model to come equipped with Level-2 ADAS. The package includes features such as autonomous emergency braking, lane-keep assist, and lane-departure warning. These systems enhance safety and reduce driver fatigue, especially during long highway runs.

Music and sound quality is an important aspect for many while buying a new car, and the Victoris offers a decent punch in this department with an 8-speaker Infinity sound system from Harman Kardon.. Combine that with Dolby Atmos 5.1 support, the audio system in the Victoris aims to offer an immersive audio experience.
The Victoris comes equipped with a panoramic sunroof, a feature now common in this segment. But what makes the Victoris’ panoramic sunroof unique is that the rear pane also opens up, giving you a much larger opening that in most of its rivals. While it’s not an essential feature, it’s an appealing addition for many buyers.

The Victoris pairs a large 10.1-inch touchscreen with an equally sized 10.25-inch digital driver’s display. The infotainment supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while hybrid variants also display real-time data. Meanwhile, the digital driver display puts essential information right in front of the driver, making navigation, speed, and other driving stats easy to monitor at a glance.
The Victoris also comes with an 8-way powered driver’s seat, allowing the driver to conveniently adjust the seat position for optimal comfort. On top of that, it also features front seat ventilation, which is a useful addition, especially in hot and humid Indian weather. This combination makes long drives and daily commutes more comfortable.

The Victoris CNG variant brings an unique underbody CNG tank setup. This design ensures the boot space remains usable, unlike traditional CNG kits that compromise luggage capacity. While higher-end features are limited on the CNG trims, buyers won’t have to give up practicality.
From introducing Level-2 ADAS to offering smart touches like the underbody CNG kit, it shows how Maruti is adapting to evolving buyer expectations. While rivals like the Creta and Seltos set the benchmark, the Victoris gives buyers something equally exciting to look forward to. Share your thoughts in the comments below on which of the above features you find most useful.
