Only two engine options are available in the top-spec HTX+ and GTX+ variants: the 1.0-litre turbo petrol motor and the 1.5-litre diesel unit. The petrol engine gets the iMT and DCT transmission options whereas the diesel one gets a choice of MT and AT gearboxes. The dual-tone options are available in all four variants across both trims.

In its segment, the Ford EcoSport is the only sub-4m SUV to not offer a dual-tone option.
