Hyundai Elite i20 is celebrating its first anniversary in India. To commemorate this occasion the carmaker has launched a special edition of the Elite i20 in the country. This new edition is based on the Sportz trim level and is launched in both petrol and diesel variants. This new anniversary edition will be limited to just 600 units.
The new edition sports newly designed 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, roof with gloss back shade, blackened out B and C pillar and side body decals with special edition badge at the rear.
The feature list on the Elite i20 consists of a 2-DIN music system with Bluetooth connectivity, six speakers and climate controls as standard. The dealer level fitment include floor mats, seat covers door sill plates, parcel tray and badging.
As mentioned above, the Hyundai Elite i20 Anniversary Edition will be available in both petrol and diesel engine options. A 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol unit churning out 82PS of power and 115Nm of torque and a 1.4-litre oil burner delivering 89PS of power and 220Nm of torque will do duty under this special edition car. The petrol engine will be mated to a five-speed manual transmission while the diesel engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission.
The new Elite i20 Anniversary Edition petrol is priced at Rs. 6.69 lakh while the diesel powered model comes with a price tag of Rs 7.84 lakh (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
