Husqvarna has put out a banner on its website, with an empty road and a countdown leading to February 3. Sounds familiar, right? That’s because not long ago, KTM put out a similar teaser before pulling the wraps off the 1290 Super Adventure S on January 26. So, what is the Swedish manufacturer upto?
Going by the urban backdrop of the picture, one could guess it could be the smaller Huskies, based on the 125 Duke. The possibility of it being the Svartpilen 201 or Vitpilen 201 can’t be ruled out either, given that the bike has been spied in Pune. However, what makes things more interesting is the “Ride your own road.” and “Go where few have.” lines, of which, the latter has been generally associated with the brand’s enduro models.

Could this mean the Norden 901 is finally being showcased in its production avatar? The images of the bike's production version were leaked and last month the KTM 890 Adventure-based bike was spotted testing. The test mule seemed very close to final form, complete with the metal bash plate, headlight and visor installed--something that is usually reserved for the last.
While we still await the Swedish manufacturer to launch the Svartpilen and Vitpilen 401 in India, the European market will be gearing up for another new motorcycle. Though we still aren’t certain if it’s going to be the Husqvarna Norden 901 that will be unveiled on February 3, we definitely think it is going to be an interesting launch.
