Honda X-Blade Launched In India

Honda has silently launched the X-Blade by announcing prices on its website.

Honda had recently opened bookings for the X-Blade while suggesting it would be priced below Rs 79,000 (ex-showroom Delhi). And now, the company’s website has been updated with the price of the motorcycle which stands at Rs 78,500 (ex-showroom Delhi).

The Honda X-Blade sports a sharp design with muscular fuel tank extensions, a dual outlet muffler and a unique headlamp design. In terms of features, the X-Blade gets a digital instrument cluster and LED lighting for both the headlamp and the tail lamps. The X-Blade gets a single-saddle unit instead of split seats.

Powering the Honda X-Blade is a 162.71cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that puts out 14PS of power at 8,500rpm and 13.9Nm of torque at 6000rpm. This motor is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

The X-Blade’s diamond-type frame is suspended on telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock unit at the rear. Braking duties are handled by 276mm disc brakes at the front and 130mm drum brake at the rear. It is equipped with a 12-litre fuel tank and tips the scale at 140kg (kerb).

The Honda X-Blade comes in five different colours - Metallic Blue, Pearl Black, Matte Silver, Pearl Red and Matte Green.The Honda X-Blade goes up against the Hero Xtreme Sports which starts from Rs 78,226 and the Suzuki Gixxer which retails for Rs 77,015 (all prices ex-showroom Delhi).
