Ford unveils Compact Sedan

Ford India has unveiled a new compact sedan concept called the Figo Concept. The Figo Concept which will take on the likes of the Honda Amaze and soon to be launched Hyundai Grand i10 sedan will make production this year. The Figo Concept which will measure under 4-metres will come with options of two engines - one petrol and one diesel.

The Figo Concept will target upwardly mobile first time buyers. These customers demand high economy and want sophistication and Ford will satisfy all these needs and surpass expectations as well. The car will have a competitive entry price point and one of the most affordable running cost in its class. The Figo Concept will also come loaded with a number of features including Sync which we have seen in the Ford EcoSport.

The Figo Concept which is based on a new platform and will be a global car. Ford says, the Figo Concept will have class leading interior space. It adds, the Figo Concept will also be the most modern car on the market in terms of styling, technology, driving dynamics and sophistication.

Tata Motors too unveiled a new compact sedan today, the Zest, which will be offered with both petrol and diesel engine and along with manual and semi automatic transmission. With the unveiling of the Ford Figo Concept sedan, we will see at least three new sub 4-metres sedan this year.
