Ford Fiesta ZXi gets safer, more fun

The Ford Fiesta has always been a high selling car in the mid-level sedan class, excelling in factors such as style, safety and performance. Now however, Ford plans to up the ante further by endowing this bestseller with a few more safety features and a new music system.

Ford Fiesta ZXi gets safer, more fun highlights

The ZXi variant of the Fiesta will now come with an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) as standard. The anti-lock brakes along with the EBD system which can automatically distribute braking force to each wheel as necessary will go a long way in enhancing safety by keeping the car under complete control during braking under all conditions.

Apart from the new safety features, the Ford Fiesta ZXi will also feature a powerful 2 DIN audio system, complete with MP3 support and speakers to boot. The best part is all these new enhancements, both on the entertainment and safety front, are being offered by Ford at no extra price! And just to give an added benefit to customers, the company is throwing in free fog lamps on the Fiesta as well.

These updated ZXi variants of the Fiesta, both petrol and diesel, are still maintaining their original aggressive pricing, with the ZXi Duratec (petrol) at Rs. 6.34 lakh and the ZXi Duratorq (diesel) at Rs. 7.32 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
