Bugatti has officially pulled the veils off its virtual car – the Vision Gran Turismo which is all set to make its debut at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. The virtual racer will be shown as a full scale car at the motor show.
Inspired from the brand’s rich racing tradition, the Vision Gran Turismo is a tribute to the Bugatti Type 57's victories in Le Mans in 1937 and 1939. It features the same two-tone blue paint job that the grand tourer wore during its victories at the Le Mans racing circuit.
The company states that it wanted to create a project as realistic as possible for its fans and put a real Bugatti in the virtual world of the PlayStation video game. The virtual car features important characteristics of the Bugatti’s design DNA, including the side profile, the horse shoe front grille flanked by eight LED headlamps developed specially for the car. The car also receives a NACA air intake on the roof which contributes to the control of the aerodynamic conditions on top and at the rear of the car.
No mechanical details of the car have been revealed as of now. More details on this virtual car will be revealed on the Frankfurt podium. Read this space out for more.
