Quick News Highlights:
According to our sources, the upcoming Lectrix NDuro electric scooter has been put through some serious tests at the NATRAX Testing Facility in Madhya Pradesh. The NATRAX is Asia's longest and one of India's best high-speed tracks, which is designed for automotive testing and certification. Both car and bike manufacturers from around India come here to test their vehicles’ endurance, hardware, build quality and more.
Our sources reveal that the Lectrix NDuro electric scooter has undergone many rigorous and challenging tests at the NATRAX Testing Facility, proving its robust build quality. Here’s what we know:
Loose Dirt Track Test: The NDuro was tested on a loose dirt track for handling, tyre performance, and stability on a loose dirt track, and it seems to have performed impressively.
Water Wading Test: The electric scooter was also put through a water wading test, which it successfully passed proving the secure fitment of its battery pack. Even when submerged in water, the battery remained unaffected and functioned normally, which means you can ride it worry-free during heavy rainfall as well.
Belgium Track and Potholes Test: The e-scooter has also undergone a pothole test which is designed to evaluate the working and quality of its front and rear suspensions. This test showed the NDuro maintaining its composure while delivering a comfortable ride—perfect for Indian road conditions.
Steep Incline Test: The NDuro successfully climbed a steep incline with a pillion, performing flawlessly without any drop in power. This test ensures a good real-world performance, even when carrying a heavy load or a pillion.
The upcoming Lectrix NDuro was also spied testing a few days back with an aggressive and robust design. The electric scooter is equipped with a hub-mounted motor and we expect its top variant to deliver a range of around 100km+ on a single charge. The test bike featured an LCD instrument console along with a roomy floorboard and a spacious seat. The suspension setup included a telescopic fork and twin rear shocks. The test bike was fitted with chunky 12-inch wheels and had a motorcycle-like tyre hugger.
The upcoming Lectrix NDuro electric scooter’s launch is just around the corner. It is set to launch on the 3rd of December 2024. The electric scooter will compete with other premium electric scooters including Ampere Nexus, Ola S1 X, Ather Rizta, Bajaj Chetak, Vida V1 and the TVS iQube.
