Toyota CNG Cars – Rumion CNG And Urban Cruiser Hyryder CNG – To Make You Wait For A LONG Time!

Toyota has revealed the waiting period on its existing CNG models and if you’re in the market looking for the Toyota Glanza CNG, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder CNG or Toyota Rumion CNG, here’s how long you’ll have to wait for delivery. 

Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder CNG

Being offered in multiple powertrain options ranging from petrol to strong-hybrid and even CNG, the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder CNG tags a waiting period of 12-13 months.

Toyota Glanza CNG

While Toyota has announced the waiting period for its other CNG models, it hasn’t confirmed the time one will have to wait for the Glanza CNG. That said, Toyota says the manual variants of the hatchback command an average waiting period of a month and we reckon that should apply for the CNG model as well.

Toyota Rumion CNG

Bookings for the Toyota Rumion CNG have been temporarily halted due to, we believe, its high demand. So if you’re looking for a CNG variant, you might want to consider the competition, or its “Indian cousin” the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga CNG. 

Prices for the Toyota Glanza CNG start from Rs 8.65 lakh and go up to Rs 9.68 lakh. It rivals the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai Grand i10 Nios and Tata Altroz. 

The Toyota Rumion is the rebadged version of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. The Toyota Rumion CNG is priced at Rs 11.39 lakh and is available in a single variant. Apart from its Maruti sibling, it goes up against the Kia Carens.

The prices for the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder CNG start at Rs 13.71 lakh (ex-showroom pan-India). The factory-fitted CNG is offered in the mid-spec trim levels, S and G, powered by the standard-spec 1.5-litre engine paired with a five-speed manual transmission.The Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder locks horns with the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun and Skoda Kushaq.
