Modified Ducati Diavel V4 Unveiled With MotoGP Bike Tech

Quick Read:

  • VTopia Design reveals Anima, a radical custom bike based on the Ducati Diavel V4

  • Features carbon fibre bodywork, a reworked stance, and MotoGP-spec brakes

  • Limited production planned, with no word yet on pricing or availability

VTopia Design has blurred the lines between art and engineering with its latest creation, a fully custom Ducati Diavel V4 that looks straight out of a sci-fi video game. The Swiss design house has a knack for building futuristic, digitally inspired motorcycles, and its latest build, named Anima, pushes that design philosophy to the next level.

The stock Ducati Diavel V4 is already one of the wildest factory performance cruisers on the market. Its long, muscular silhouette and that mighty Ducati Panigale V4-derived engine give it a serious road presence. But if you are someone who still feels like the stock design isn’t crazy enough, that’s where VTopia stepped in. The custom house took Ducati’s muscular cruiser and transformed it into something that feels more like a digital beast than a motorcycle, but here’s the kicker - you can actually buy this!

The VTopia Touch

VTopia didn’t just tweak or modify the Diavel; they rebuilt it. Whether it is visually or mechanically, the Anima is made from the ground up. Every piece of Ducati’s original bodywork has been replaced with purple-coloured carbon fibre panels that look like they were pulled from a 3D render. The motorcycle gets a custom set of lights, and a yellow-coloured 7-piece Alcantara seat too. The team also reworked the bike’s stance, lifting the tail and lowering the front, making it look like it’s ready to pounce. At the same time, the clutch cover has been replaced to give it an otherworldly look.

The Anima gets loads and loads of custom CNC-machined aluminium parts, including a set of clipons, superbike-esque billet aluminium footpegs and a new subframe.

Performance That Matches the Looks

This isn’t just a showpiece. The Anima has the performance to back up its otherworldly styling. While the V4 engine remains the same, VTopia has fitted a custom Spark four-into-four titanium exhaust system. While the stock exhaust itself looked like a gatling gun, ready to shred the competition, this one looks more like a multi-missile launcher! The braking system features Brembo GP4-MS callipers paired with carbon-ceramic discs (straight out of MotoGP!), a combination you’d normally expect on a race bike, not a road-going cruiser.

Exclusivity for the Few

VTopia plans to build a limited number of Anima units for select customers, though details like production numbers and pricing remain under wraps. All said and done, one thing is for certain - this is not a motorcycle for the faint-hearted. Its radical design is for those who see bikes as an extension of art and want something that screams “I’m one of a kind” with each rev.
