Nissan has just launched the Magnite facelift, with prices starting from Rs 5.99 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom). The updated Japanese sub-4m SUV gets the same engine options as before, but its variant lineup has been revised with a new nomenclature.

The powertrain options for the Nissan Magnite facelift are exactly the same as the outgoing model. Nissan is yet to reveal the claimed fuel efficiency figures for the NA petrol engine.

The 1-litre NA petrol manual powertrain is available throughout the Magnite’s lineup.
The 1-litre NA petrol AMT powertrain is offered in all variants, save for the Visia+.
Turbo-petrol manual combination is limited to the higher-spec variants, starting from N-Connecta.
Turbo-petrol and CVT pairing can be had from the Acenta variant onwards.
With prices ranging between Rs 5.99 lakh and Rs 11.50 lakh (ex-showroom), the starting price for the Magnite has remained unchanged over the outgoing model, but the top-end now carries a premium of Rs 23,000. With this update, the Magnite now puts up a tougher fight against the likes of the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Fronx, Hyundai Exter, Tata Punch, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Kia Sonet, and the Renault Kiger.
