HTX to get two additional features: a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and TPMS.
Upgrades likely to be introduced as prices are increased.

It looks like Kia India is working on giving the Sonet a boost in the safety features department. Our dealer sources have confirmed that these upgrades will be introduced when the SUV receives its price hike soon. Plus, the second-below-top HTX trim could get more features from the top-spec GTX+.

Our dealer sources have confirmed that the Sonet could get four airbags as standard. Until now, dual airbags are standard from the base to the one-below-top HTX+ trim, while the top-spec GTX+ trim gets six airbags. Also, the second-below-top HTX could get two features from the higher-spec GTX+:

10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system (up from 8 inches)
Tyre pressure monitoring system

Apart from the aforementioned features, the Sonet will remain unchanged. It continues to get a 83PS 1.2-litre petrol, 120PS 1-litre turbo-petrol, and 115PS 1.5-litre diesel engine options. Depending on the engine, the Sonet gets the choice of a manual or an automatic transmission.
