Honda has finally started accepting the bookings for the newly launched CBR650R and CB650R. Launched at Rs 9.99 lakh and Rs 9.20 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), both the CBR650R and CB650R are attractive options in their category. The booking amount ranges between Rs Rs 10,000 and Rs 50,000, depending on dealerships.

Design

For 2025, Honda has made the CBR650R look a lot more sharper than before. It gets a new design for the front fairing with a slick-looking tail section. It gets a new twin LED headlight which enhances the overall look of this motorcycle. The CBR650R also gets updated paint schemes which definitely helps the CBR650R look a lot more striking.

The CB650R is designed as a neo-retro motorcycle. Apart from the front end, the bike looks exactly the same as the CBR650R, from the tank to the tail. . It also gets an updated paint scheme which complements its overall design.

Performance

Both of these 2025 Honda motorcycles use the same 649cc inline four-cylinder engine as before but with more power. This engine now produces 94PS at 12,000rpm and 67Nm at 9500rpm. It has been highly praised for being supremely smooth and reliable. The older CBR650R and CB650R had a smooth and linear power delivery and the same is expected from the new ones too.

Underpinnings

Both of these motorcycles use a steel frame along with Showa USD fork and a rear monoshock with preload adjustability. For braking duties these motorcycles get a 310mm twin front and a 240mm rear disc brake setup.

Features

In terms of features too, both the 2025 Honda CBR650R and CB650R gets a new 5-inch TFT display which also supports smartphone connectivity along with turn-by-turn navigation and SMS/call alerts.

The CBR650R competes with the Triumph Daytona 660 and Suzuki GSX-8R. While the CB650R competes with the Triumph Trident 660.
