Mahindra is on a streak of hot launches. In the past six months, the industry has witnessed a bunch of new launches from the carmaker, which haven’t helped shorten its long list of pending orders. Two of the latest entrants - the Scorpio N and Scorpio Classic witness waiting periods soaring up to ten months, while relatively older models like the XUV700 too have a similar wait time.

Although deliveries of the Mahindra Scorpio N have been underway since September 2022, the SUV still has a massive 10-month waiting period in some cities. This could be partially down to the fact that production of the low-end trims of the SUV only began around February end.

But the waiting period isn’t all too bad in every city, as places like Jaipur have a three-month delivery time, while you can get your keys in four months in cities like Coimbatore, Pune and Chennai.

Even after the launch of the new generation Scorpio N, the previous generation Scorpio, which was renamed the Scorpio Classic, is still going strong with waiting periods for the SUV going up to five months in cities like Chandigarh, Kolkata and Ahmedabad. Mumbai and Surat are places where you can get the SUV at the earliest i.e., in two months.

Places such as Ahmedabad and Kolkata have the maximum wait time, while cities like Pune and Chennai have a waiting period as low as two months.
