Check Out All The Colour Options Of The 5-Door Mahindra Thar Roxx

Mahindra has finally taken the covers off the highly anticipated 5 door Thar Roxx today, after a long saga of testing and teasing the lifestyle off-roader. The Mahindra Thar Roxx has been launched at a starting price of Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom). While we can’t comment on how it looks (because of the embargo), we can show you all the exterior colour shades which will be offered for the Thar Roxx. Here’s a look at exactly that.

Black

This colour has been teased multiple times before on the Thar Roxx and this will probably be one of the more popular shades of the Thar Roxx. 

Grey

A simple Grey hue, because every car just has to have that option.

Red:

A crimson sparkling red shade for the Thar Roxx.

White:

Instead of launching this white shade later (as they did with the 3-door Thar), Mahindra is offering the Roxx with this shade right from launch.

Bronze:

This golden bronze hue has been borrowed from the XUV700 which was introduced as the Burnt Sienna colour shade in a limited edition variant. 

Mahindra Thar Roxx: Features

The Mahindra Thar Roxx has been introduced with plenty of new comfort, convenience and safety features packed up to the brim. It gets an updated dashboard layout and dual tone light coloured interior theme with leatherette upholstery. The dashboard’s centre stage is taken by a 10.25-inch infotainment screen with wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, automatic climate control unit, wireless phone charging, and a premium Harman/Kardon sound system. Additionally, it gets the option of a single-pane and a panoramic sunroof option depending on the variant chosen.

Safety is taken care of by 6-airbags, ABS with EBD, and electronic stability control as standard across the range. Additionally it gets safety tech like a 360 degree camera, ISOFIX child seat mounts, tyre pressure monitoring system, seat belt reminders for all occupants, and ADAS features like lane-keep assist, blind spot detection, emergency braking and adaptive cruise control.

Mahindra Thar Roxx: Powertrain

The Thar Roxx will be offered with a 2-litre turbo petrol engine and a 2.2-litre diesel engine. But for now only the base variants rear-wheel drive powertrain figures are out which are as follows: 162 PS and 330 Nm for the petrol manual and a 2.2-litre diesel 152 PS and 330 Nm for the diesel manual. 

Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. Full specs, including numbers for the four-wheel drive to be out tomorrow.

Mahindra Thar Roxx: Price And Rivals

The Mahindra Thar Roxx has been introduced at Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It rivals other off-road capable lifestyle SUVs like the Force Gurkha 5-door and is a larger alternative to the Maruti Suzuki Jimny.
