Uses the same 550PS 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, but gains a sports exhaust.
Gets blacked-out bits all over as well as new 22-inch wheels and red brake calipers.
Interior gets a two-tone theme with red accents on the black leather.
Bentley continues to tinker around with the Continental GT/GTC with the latest tinkering coming in the form of a new ‘S’ trim. No it’s not the hardcore ‘Speed’ trim, but a different one that makes the Continental sporty in a different way.

Let’s start with under the hood. Unfortunately, the S couldn’t get the brawny 6.0-litre W12 TSI engine but the existing twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 engine ain’t no slouch either. Performance remains unchanged, pushing 550PS power and 770Nm torque, with the grand tourer capable of doing a 0-100kmph sprint in just 4 seconds. That being said, Bentley has fitted the Continental GT/GTC S with a sports exhaust so you can hear that screaming V8 unfiltered.

Getting to the more visible changes at hand, the ‘S’ loses most of its chrome, with the front grille and all other exterior bits including the quad exhaust tips getting a gloss black finish. Even the headlights and tail lamps get a tinted finish with only the S badge and Bentley lettering in chrome. Other additions include new blacked-out 22-inch alloy wheels and brake calipers finished in red to add some contrast.

Inside, the S comes with a two-tone look which isn’t there on any other Continental trim, with ‘S’ lettering embroidered on the seats. To give it a bit of contrast, there’s red accents complimenting the black leather as well.

Sure, the Bentley Continental GT/GTC S is essentially just cosmetic add-ons to the grand tourer, but it does give off a bit of a sporty vibe. As for India, we’re yet to know when we’ll get this sportier trim, but we could expect an arrival towards the end of 2022.
