Patent images of the much-awaited Benda VTR-300 Turbo have surfaced online, almost a year after the Chinese bikemaker announced the bike. Though this 300cc supersport may still be a few months away, we now have a fair bit of idea about it.
Unlike most Chinese manufacturers, Benda has been bringing out motorcycles with original design, and that are at par with the European standards. The VTR-300 Turbo is no different. From its unique fascia to the minimal fairing, exposing the chassis and the stubby tail, it doesn't seem to be “inspired” by any other motorcycle.
While the images do not show the turbo, the possibility of it being nestled underneath the fairing cannot be ruled out. We reckon the VTR-300 could use the same 298cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine that belts out around 30PS. With the turbo, the power could boost up to 45PS, which is interesting for a 300cc bike. However, given that the bike sports a single disc up front, it is unlikely that the performance could be over the 50PS mark.

The Benda VTR-300 Turbo could make its public debut by the end of this year, and push the envelope further of what the company has been achieving with its products. Last year, we saw some stunning motorcycles like the Benda Tang Knife and the LFC 700.
