2026 Maruti Brezza LEAKED Ahead Of Launch, Turbo-petrol BoosterJet Engine Confirmed; Here Are The Expected Prices!

The much-anticipated second-generation Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift is launching the day after tomorrow, and before the official details are announced, leaks are already surfacing on the internet, giving us a peek into the changes that have been made. There is a hot new addition to the Brezza that many have been anticipating as well. Let’s explore.

2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza: Exterior

Front

The Brezza comes with a refreshed new fascia for 2026. The elephant in the room is the gold-finish trim on the fascia connecting the headlamps, which remain unchanged. However, the lower variants get a glossy grey trim on the fascia. 

The bumper gets a sharper new design with a triangular fog-lamp housing with a subtle air vent. The lower half gets a metallic grey number-plate trim on the lower air-dam below which, we can see the faux silver skid plate. The overall front design language remains similar to maintain familiarity.

Side

The upright and boxy side profile of the Brezza remains largely unchanged. The accents on the door cladding are refreshed with a silver trim. The 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels also receive a design update.

Apart from that, the good old Brezza is similar to what it has been before. Including, the blacked-out pillars giving it the floating roof design, thick wheel arch cladding, and tall roof rails that give the Brezza its SUV styling.

Rear

Like the side profile, the rear end of the new Brezza also remains largely the same, with the squared-off design language and straight lines. 

The Brezza branding on the bootlid remains the same, including the “turbo Bosterjet” badging for the new engine, connecting the tail lamps on either side. The bootlid also includes the number plate housing beside which sits the engine badging.

2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza: Interior

The interior of the Brezza also remains largely similar to the outgoing model. However, the coloured trim running across the width of the dashboard gets a new satin copper finish in the upper variants while the lower variants get a black pattern design. 

The climate control panel on the centre console is replaced by the buttoned unit from the Maruti Victoris. The interior also includes the addition of a new gloss black finish on the dashboard and the door cards. Meanwhile, the back seats also include a new upgrade in the form of winged headrests. 

Thanks to the boxy shape of the Brezza, its interior space and practicality have been a strong point, and thankfully, the new Brezza retains this quality.

2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza: Features & Safety

The Brezza gets a host of feature upgrades for 2026. These include a larger and updated 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment display with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. These units are found in the Maruti Victoris, which is a bigger SUV. Another highlight is the inclusion of ventilated front seats, which have now become a necessity in the current Indian climate. Ambient lighting is also new to the cabin, which now makes it feel more premium.

The Brezza gets safety features such as 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control (ESC), hill-hold control (HHC), ISOFIX child seat mounts and a 360-degree camera.

2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza: Powertrain

One of the juiciest parts of the new Brezza’s story is the introduction of the 1-litre turbo-petrol BoosterJet, which we have seen in the Maruti Fronx.

We can also spot the introduction of a new 6-speed manual gearbox, which could make its way into both the 1.5-litre and the 1-litre turbo engine as well.

2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza: Expected Price & Rivals

The Maruti Brezza is expected to be priced from Rs 8.49 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards. 

The Brezza goes against the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet and Syros, Skoda Kylaq, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Tata Nexon, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, Maruti Fronx, and the Toyota Taisor.

Since its launch in 2022, the Brezza has been waiting for an upgrade in its feature list with this facelift to take on its feature packed rivals like the recently updated Hyundai Venue.

The upcoming Brezza could also be affordable due to the introduction of the 1-litre turbo petrol Boosterjet engine, thanks to the sub-4 metre tax brackets. It will be interesting to see what the exact engine and gearbox combinations will look like the day after tomorrow.
