Audi has finally launched the new third-generation Q3 SUV in India with prices starting at Rs 51.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Once among the top players in the luxury segment in the country, the brand wants to reclaim its top spot, and the new Q3 is one of a series of new-generation models as part of its revival plans.
Going head-to-head with the recently-launched BMW X1 LWB, the Q3 was unveiled back in August, and here is a recap of what’s new with the Q3 SUV and its pricing in detail:
2026 Audi Q3: Price
|

Rs 51.99 lakh |
|
Zenith |
Rs 55.99 lakh |
All prices are ex-showroom
The Audi Q3’s price range starts at Rs 51.99 lakh. This makes it Rs 8.32 lakh more expensive than the outgoing model. The current generation comes as a completely knocked-down (CKD) model. This means, it is assebled in India.
Audi has already started bookings for the new-generation Q3, and deliveries are slated to begin next month.
2026 Audi Q3: Exterior
The Q3 was always a handsome-looking SUV. With the new generation, the styling has taken a turn towards a more aggressive design language. The new Q3 adopts a split lighting setup with the customisable LED DRL sitting on top of the fascia and the Matrix LED headlamps sitting on the upper half of the bumper. What is also new here is the Audi logo, which illuminates when you unlock the car.

Over to the side, despite the Q3 being a new generation, it remains recognisable as an Audi thanks to the long bonnet and the sloping roofline. The 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels are smartly designed and the flared wheel arches give the Q3’s side profile some extra muscle. Besides this, it maintains an elegant look, and there’s no body cladding or roof rails to keep the look leaning towards sporty.

At the rear, the SUV looks more aggressive than its outgoing version with sharp LED taillights, which gives a more substantial look to the Q3’s rear end. The bootlid and the rear bumper have a bulbous design, yet look sporty and proportional. There’s also a silver skid plate at the bottom that adds to the drama.
The Q3 comes in 4 colour options: They include Glacier White, Tambora Grey, Sage Green, Navarra Blue and Mythos Black
2026 Audi Q3: Interior
Inside the Q3, the new-age Audi dashboard design carries a curved dual-screen setup. Expectedly, in today's day and age, we see fewer buttons and more screens compared to the older generation, and most controls are integrated into the main touchscreen itself..

However, the ergonomics, materials used inside, and the black and brown interior give an overall premium experience, fitting the Audi badge.

The rear seats are not as lavish as the X1 LWB. However, the Q3 has a respectable amount of space and room inside to be reasonably comfortable for the average-sized person. The rear passengers get climate controls, an armrest with cup holders and USB-C chargers

Boot space is a cavernous 488 litres and is well shaped. It does not have a large loading lip, making it relatively simple to load and unload your luggage.
2026 Audi Q3: Features And Safety
The new Audi Q3 gets a lot of feature upgrades in the new generation. These include a new 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The driver also gets a 11.9-inch digital driver’s display. Other feature highlights include a 12-speaker Sonos sound system, wireless smartphone charger, three-zone climate control, powered tailgate, head-up display, panoramic sunroof, and powered and heated front seats.

Safety features include 9 airbags, a tyre pressure warning system, rear camera, front and rear parking sensors, and a few ADAS features. This generation of the Audi Q3 has scored 5 stars in the Euro NCAP crash tests, reinforcing its safety credentials.
2026 Audi Q3: Powertrain
The Audi Q3 comes with Volkswagen’s familiar 2-litre turbo petrol engine (codenamed EA888) paired with the 7-speed DSG gearbox, just like the outgoing version. Powertrain specifications are as follows:
|

2-litre turbo-petrol |
|

204 PS |
|
Torque |
320 Nm |
|
Transmission |
7-Speed DSG |

2026 Audi Q3: Rivals
The Audi Q3 goes against entry-level luxury SUVs like the BMW X1 LWB, Mercedes GLA and the Mini Countryman C.
ZigSays…
The Q3 is among the most important models for Audi in India, being responsible for a large chunk of the brand’s volumes. With this update, it is also the most modern car in its lineup today, with updates to the existing models and a few new models following soon. However, the new Q3 redeems some of the points with its bold and aggressive presence and modern feature comforts. Despite some feature misses like ventilated seats and a 360-degree camera, it claws back with great driving dynamics and a strong powertrain.
