Hyundai Venue Facelift 2022 Review | A Lot More Desirable?

Introducing the 2025 Hyundai Venue, and in this latest generation, Hyundai has clearly signalled its intent to upgrade this sub-4-metre SUV into something far more premium, feature-rich and tech-savvy than before. From the exterior design to a new interior design and some new features, the Venue gets a much-deserved update with the new model.
The Venue’s upgrades read like a checklist for what buyers now expect, not just from subcompact SUVs, but from larger SUVs, too. So if you were in the market looking for a feature-rich SUV that appeals to you and your family, then here’s a detailed look at five of the Venue’s standout features and what they mean in everyday use.
First up is the curved dual display arrangement. At the heart of the cabin, you’ll find two connected 12.3-inch screens, one being your digital instrument cluster and the other as the touchscreen infotainment display. Similar to the one on the Creta, the displays are arranged in a smooth curved panel spanning the driver’s view and the centre dash. However, the infotainment unit is even larger than the one on the Creta.
This dual-screen arrangement marks a clear step up: it not only gives the interior a more modern “digital cockpit” feel, but also improves practicality by offering larger displays for navigation, connectivity, camera views, and driver information. And as you would expect, the infotainment offers support for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The outgoing model of the Venue used to come with an 8-inch infotainment unit and a semi-digital driver display.

A good infotainment without a good sound system is like rice without curry! However, that’s not the case here as Hyundai offers a premium Bose sound system to satisfy the audiophile inside you.
This means that Hyundai is recognising that today’s buyers don’t just want a functional sound system; they want an immersive, high-fidelity experience. When you spend time in traffic or on weekend drives, the difference between a basic audio setup and a premium one is tangible, and for music-lovers, this goes beyond luxury and becomes a practical comfort feature.

The Venue comes with C-shaped LED DRL with quad headlamps up front, which is both a styling and functional upgrade that clearly gives the new Venue a modern look. The C-shaped DRLs are present on the outer edges, and you get a thick quad-beam headlamp cluster. Furthermore, you also get a connected LED light bar on top.
This design cue not only helps the car stand out visually, giving it a sharper, more substantial presence, but also contributes to everyday driving. With the Quad-LED projectors, one can also expect improved illumination during low-light or challenging road conditions, enhancing safety and comfort at night or on poorly lit roads.

Fourth, and ergonomically significant, are the 4-way powered driver seats. While some manual-adjust seats are still standard in this class, having powered adjustment means the driver can more easily get into a comfortable position. While this might not be a must-have feature for most, it’s a subtle comfort upgrade, one that impacts long-term usability and driver satisfaction.

Last, but arguably an important feature from a safety and future-proofing perspective, is the Level 2 ADAS suite. Hyundai has confirmed that the 2025 Venue will be equipped with a Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System package.
This means the car will go beyond simple alerts and assist modes and will offer features such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping and lane-following assist, blind-spot collision warnings, and maybe even stop-and-go functionality.
While ADAS might not be the most effective yet in Indian driving conditions, it provides an extra pair of eyes on the road, ensuring that when you are not completely attentive, your mistakes are taken care of.

Apart from the ones mentioned above, the Venue also comes with features such as ventilated front seats, rear window sunshades, ambient lighting, a 360-degree camera with front parking sensors, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, a wireless phone charger, automatic climate control, and keyless entry with push-button start.
Other safety features include 6 airbags (as standard), ABS with EBD, electronic stability control (ESC), a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), hill hold assist and ISOFIX child seat anchorages.

The 2025 Hyundai Venue arrives with a strong technology upgrade narrative. The curved dual display raises the cabin’s digital feel, the C-shaped LED DRL + quad headlamps bring sharper styling and improved lighting, the rich audio system enhances in-car enjoyment, the powered driver seat ups the comfort quotient, and the Level 2 ADAS suite provides an added layer of safety. These upgrades, along with the other features, make the Venue feel better packaged overall. It now starts to enter the territory that was previously reserved for larger vehicles.
For buyers considering the Venue, the feature upgrades definitely make a compelling case! It's now not only on par with the most feature-rich cars in the segment, like the Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV 3XO, but its list of equipment is also very similar to the larger Creta. This gives the modern-day buyer a future-proof car at about Rs 15 lakh!
